CLICK HERE FOR OUR UPCOMING EVENTS
Here is a collection of the flyers from all the shows we threw in 2017! We hosted our recurring First Fridays Art Walk Exhibitions (Wet Walls, Put This On, Our Anniversary Show) and curated a variety of other events in and out of house.
Here is a collage of the installation our In-House Artist, Ian C. Hess, put together for the Inlight 2017 festival organized by 1708 Gallery in Richmond, VA.
As part of our Taking Refuge Program, Hess worked with Egyptian Refugee, Younan Ghabriel, to put together an exhibition which was voted Best In Show.
We would like extend a big THANK YOU to BIG SECRET Laser Studio, the Virginia Repertory Theatre and Musician Sam Sulkin for their roles in helping Ian C. Hess Put this together. Not many people are as fortunate as us to have the support of a community as loving as Richmond.

Helsinki Urban Art Project 2017
Wingchow was delighted to take part in a Helsinki Urban Art project to transform the grey concrete district of Pasila into a place known for art instead.
The main partner in this project was European Union National Institutes for Culture, from which the embassies involved in the project have been Goethe-Institut, the Embassy of Austria, the Hungarian Balassi Institute, the Embassy of Poland and Eesti Instituut. The project has also been supported by the Embassy of the United States of America and Taike, the Arts Promotion Centre Finland.
This is a great example of the opportunities we would like to continue to pursue despite the stark reality that despite the time and effort put forth, this opportunity and others alike are unpaid.
